Paper Person

Paper Person is a high octane 2d platformer inspired by the all of the cartoons from the 90s and the seventh generation classics. You play as Doodle, a bounty hunter that is struggling to pay rent who is now tasked with slaying a big rock demon at the top of some mountain. Run through each level with an grim but wacky art style

Meet the Bounty Hunter!

You are Doodle, a bounty hunter that is broke and is struggling to pay rent. One day, the king kidnaps Doodle and plants a device in his head where if he doesn't poach the bounty of "the dastardly stone" in time, he dies! So Doodle has no other choice but to go on this silly adventure to the dead desert to complete this bounty so he can get this device removed and live another day. Who knows he might meet somebody who will help him on this journey.

Gameplay

(reminder that everything here is wip, we are currently in the "anything could change" stage of development) 

The gameplay loop is quite simple: you dash through a level, search for some cursed books and find the exit. Your move set has many unique moves, like using your revolver to defy gravity and glide down slowly or pulling out your dagger to defeat enemies below. This game is fast paced and momentum based so you better be quick!
